portraits nineteen

kaitlin & joslin
this could very well be one of my favorite shoots if not my favorite...okay probably my favorite. but this one comes close. this past weekend i went to visit my friends kaitlin and joslin(who are sisters) in provo utah. traditionally we have photo shoots when i visit and this time i needed them to model for my portrait class assignment. this assignment focused on location and we were given a list of different locations to find and focus on.
~ a residential area
~ 2 public park related areas
~ an area within 30 feet from my front door
~ an area that is no more than 6 ft square
~ a vista(large open) area
~ two urban decay

naturally, i took more photos and found more locations then needed for the assignment.
you can find a couple others here.
i would like to add, i love being a photographer. i have a lot to learn, i love developing myself, improving and finding my own aesthetic.
please click on the photos to see them larger, they are better that way.
enjoy.

ps. some images are a tad pixely because i screen shot these photographs so they were smaller. maybe you didn't notice and maybe you don't even know what that means.

LOVE! monica's skills + kaitlin and joslin's beauty = some AMAZING photos. i think they might be up there with subway on the list of things i love. and you know how much i love subway, so it's kind of a big deal.... btw, i think i might buy that red truck, and then i was thinking that i could just live in the camper on the back. monica, you're welcome to move in with me if you would like, but you will have to pay rent. haha.

p.s. kaitlin, love your shirt.
